Hello!
I’m Itzae Montemayor, a curious emerging image-maker who is enthusiastic about problem-solving through creative and thoughtful design, my practice spans across poster design, artwork cover, to editorial, and I’m always on the lookout to see how my practice can be adapted to the needs of each brief.
Creating expressive and experimental designs are key elements throughout my projects. I built on these factors by combining analogue and digital processes, allowing me to adapt the images and designs to different needs and ensuring they are adaptable to a range of contexts.
Testimonials
Itzae took every single opportunity to extend her knowledge and skill base - taking on a lead role in designing the degree catalogue for example. Itzae took this responsibility very seriously, actively seeking out feedback and always happy to suggest and implement changes, learn new approaches to improve and elevate the project to make sure it reflected and promoted the varied practices of her peers to their best.

I had the pleasure of working with Itzae to create a poster for my documentary “Simme Tutt’uno”, and I have nothing but great memories of such an excellent work experience. We started with a few ideas I had in mind, and Itzae was brilliant in bringing them to life and enriching them with her valuable input and vision. She got back to me with a series of options that were inherently inspired by the core themes and ideas of the documentary, and to see that someone had done such extensive research and reflection on the film was truly amazing. Her skills, not only on a creative but also on a more practical and technical level, made it possible for us to work on this project with a very quick turnaround, and I could not be happier with the results and the experience of working with such a professional and talented young creative!
- Alice Franchi, Director of "Simme Tutt'uno"
